Where to Use
May be used on new wood, pressure-treated wood, weathered wood and wood with a weathered solvent-based clear or semi-transparent stain. Use on exterior wood surfaces, such as decks, fences, siding, outdoor furniture and playsets.
GALLON COVERAGE
150 to 350 sq. feet (13.9 to 32.5 sq. meters) depending on wood texture and porosity.
AREA PREPARATION
Coatings and contaminants must be completely removed from the surface. Clean with the appropriate Olympic® cleaner prior to applying product.
APPLICATION
Test a small area to ensure acceptable appearance and penetration. Apply one thin coat with a high-quality brush, roller or paint pad or by spray equipment. When spraying or rolling, always back brush for best results.
APPLICATION TEMPERATURE
Can be applied down to 50°F for 550g/L VOC version and 35°F for 250 g/L and 100 g/L VOC versions.
DRYING TIME
Normally dries in 24 hours when applied at 50°F to 85°F.
CLEANUP
Clean brushes and tools with mineral spirits for 550 g/L VOC versions and with soap and water for 250 g/L and 100 g/L VOC versions.
WARRANTY
Guaranteed to prevent water damage and graying for a minimum of three years on decks and five years on fences and siding
